About Yoder Woodcrafters

Thank you for visiting our website! Hi, I’m Wayne Yoder, Servant of God, Husband, Father, Woodworker. Over the course of my life, I have lived in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Belize, Virginia, and Kenya. I got my woodworking experience while working at a furniture shop in central Pennsylvania building fine hardwood furniture. When our congregation started a new church in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in southwest VA., we agreed to move as well. Because of this move, we opened Yoder Woodcrafters in 2002. It has been my desire from the beginning, that our family business could provide a quality product while providing an income for a growing family, as well as being a blessing in the community, and providing resources for the Kingdom of God. Over the years, God has blessed my wife and I with 3 daughters and 1 son. 

What initially began as a woodworking shop, building and selling pressure treated wood outdoor furniture, has changed to include the sale of a line of high-quality, handcrafted, poly outdoor furniture. In the summer of 2015, our family was called to mission work among the Luo people in Kenya, Africa where we have been involved in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ and encouraging churches. At that point, the woodworking side of our business was shut down and the shift was made to retail only.

In the summer of 2020 we returned to our home in VA. It is our desire to continue offering a selection of premium poly furniture for sale in western Virginia and the surrounding areas. Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service and to be an encouragement and blessing to you while meeting your outdoor furniture needs. We want God to be glorified by our business.
